Nissan Elgrand 2013 will be the first car Nissan that is equipped feature "Emergency assist for pedal misapplication (with Carpark Detection Function)”. Installation of this feature aims to reduce the number of accidents caused by driver the wrong applying pedal (pedal misapplication) in the parking area. With this feature, although on the gas pedal being stepped, the car will not move.
This system uses 4 camera by Around View Monitor and Ultrasonic Sonar. Its system detection what is the position is on site car parking or not. Nissan Elgrand sold in many countries included Indonesia. A number of other safety features contained on the New Nissan Elgrand such as; Around View Monitor, Moving Object Detection.
